Our Impact

Bay Area Turning Point (BATP) is a community-based non-profit agency that provides immediate crisis intervention and wrap-around services to individuals impacted directly or indirectly by domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

BATP serves Harris, Chambers, Northern Galveston, Eastern Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Montgomery Counties. While these are our service areas, we will provide services to anyone in need. BATP does not discriminate based on age, race, religion, nationality, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran, or citizenship status.

Savannah’s Scholarship

Disciple Oaks Camp & Retreat offers a summer camp facility for two areas of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) during June and July. There are camps for children and youth entering grades 3-12, as well as retreats and meetings for young adults, women's/men's groups, families and congregations. Call today for more information and reservations (830-437-2900), or click the link below for more information. 

  • From January through July of 2022, over $7,700 helped over 25 kids who otherwise might not have been able to attend camps, conferences and youth rallies.

  • An excerpt from a board member: "...The Savannah Fund provided support to about 1/3 of the summer campers at Gonzo this past summer. Thank you for leading the formation of and giving to the fund, it is already making such a big difference for campers and their families!

  • Memorial Hermann SE Emergency Center

    As a department that works very closely with Bay Area Turning Point, the Memorial Hermann SE Emergency Center is on the front lines of providing care and support to victims of domestic violence.
